The vast planting grounds and wet field-processingare are completely fed by natural spring water flowing from the mountain tops at 1600m elevation.

History

Caffea arabica was originally introduced into the Yunnan region in 1892 by French missionaries, who recognized the climate and geography as one ideal for coffee cultivation. Coffee plants grew in small plantations and were consumed locally until the 1950s, when the Chinese government spun off a number of government-funded research and cultivation efforts to enrich the agricultural life of its bordering lands.

The arabica strain is cultivated in the Yunnan region and optimized by a number of characteristics including pest resistance. The pellet size naturally small (about 16 screen), however the roast is full-bodied and intensely aromatic.
